What makes a Haube Range Hood unique

Quality Materials

Every Haube Range Hood is made with ultra high-quality materials sourced from reputable mills. We simply do not cut corners when it comes to acquiring the finest building metarials to construct our world-class range hoods. Choose from copper, zinc, steel, stainless steel, and brass.

Riveted Seams

Riveting is classic form of joinery in sheet metal, harnessing the innate strengths of the material itself. Riveting also provides the unique textural look along the seams. A truly riveted range hood (not decorative rivets like some use) should last a lifetime.

6) Ventilation

Every Haube Range Hood comes with a dependable blower unit backed by a full manufacturer's warranty.

30" Blower Assembly

30" hoods come with an American-made Air-Pro™ 021 power pack manufactured by VMI. It's perfectly sized for a 30" hood, but still offers 390 CFM of airflow, which is more than adequate for a 30" cooktop.

36"-54" Blower Assembly

36", 48" and 54" range hoods come with the Italian-made Inca Pro Plus™ by Faber. These blower units are available in 300-1200 CFM and feature variable speed fans and dishwasher safe grease baffles.

Range Hood

Terminology

Strapping

Strapping refers to the metal bar stock used to differentiate between our different range hood series. The strapping is held onto the main body using rivets.

Rivets

Rivets are the metal fasteners that attach the straps to the body and hold the hood together. Our rivets are fully functional, meaning your hood is of exceptional strength.

Hood Body

The hood body refers to the general shape of your range hood. Up to ten different body shapes are available depending on which of the four series you select.

Apron

The lower section of the hood that turns down just below the main body of the hood, providing a flat surface for the horizontal strapping to mount, if applicable.

Fan/Blower

The the functional part of your range hood that contains the fan system, controls, and lighting. Airflow is measured in CFM, or cubic feet per minute.

Baffles

Baffeling refers to professional style grease traps that capture solids mixed in with the kitchen exhaust. All 36-54" blower assemblies feature professional grease baffles.

Flue Extension

A flue extension is a decorative piece of metal that ads to the height of your range hood and is often used to carry the hood body all the way to the ceiling.

Corner Plates

Decorative metal angle plates that are riveted to the lower outside corners of our Traditional series of range hoods.
