Terms of Sale
Haube Range Hood Company’s responsibility in these matters is limited only to providing items as described on their web site, through CAD drawings, and on the Terms of Sale approved by the customer. We make no representation as to the suitability to purpose or compliance with local codes. The customer specifically assumes all responsibility for these issues and waives the right to cancel the order in the event that suitability or code issues arise after you have signed the terms of sale document. If parts are developed or any fabrication of the project has taken place after any issue may arise, cancellation of the order will not be without a fee based upon work done for the project. This is explained below.
Order Cancellations
Once we start on the project, the $1,000 deposit can not be refunded and the buyer becomes responsible for any additional fees incurred during the production process up until the hood is fabricated. Upon comepletion, the buyer is obligated to purchase the commissioned product.
Payment
To place order, you must agree to our Terms of Sale and then make a $1,000 deposit when prompted. The remaining balance, plus freight charges are due at close of sale prior to the estimated ship date. We only ship one day a week so it is very important you make your payments in a timely manner. Payments can be made via check or PayPal.
Tolerances
When the project is approved, you agree to our specification sheets and drawings detailing series, size, and options. Once we start on the project, the $1,000 deposit can not be refunded.
Warranty & Returns
Haube Range Hoods are protected by a full structural warranty. Blower inserts are covered by a manufactuer's warranty. More Information
Shipping
Shipping costs vary depending on: location, size, weight, and options that you select on the Shipping Form. The freight alone can range anywhere from $300 to $700. Freight charges are billed out at close of sale, which include the cost of shipping, insurance (currently $45), and the FedEx fee for shipping the blower, if applicable. The blower units are shipped separately due to the fact that they are sent to us as separate units from the insert and they are installed last in the installation process. We ship one day a week. If you are in a rush situation, please be sure to get the final balance resolved so that we can meet your deadline and you can meet our ship day.
Any residential shipment will automatically be a selected as “YES” for the lift gate option. We must be notified in advance if you will have a forklift available to remove the crate from the truck. Only then, we can change the lift gate option to “NO”. As stated on the Shipping Form, an additional invoice will be sent to you if other services are requested other than what you have selected. The freight industry allows receivers to make changes to the original terms without the shippers consent.
Customer is responsible for acceptance of shipment regarding initial inspection of product at time of delivery. Once product is signed for from the shipper, the customer accepts all responsibility for any damages to product. However, if damage to the item is noticed after the shipment has been signed for, the customer needs to let all items remain in their place and call us immediately. We will do our best to resolve the issue, but once the item has been signed we make no guarantee to how the matter will be resolved. Please inspect carefully before signing for delivery.
