Warranty Information

Haube Range Hood Company guarantees our products against defects in material or workmanship for 1 year on limited terms; all warranties on ventilation systems are per manufacturer’s terms. If we determine that we have shipped you items that do not match the approved specification sheet and/or CAD drawings, we will correct the problem by replacement, repair, or refund, as we deem appropriate, and we will be responsible for the freight.

Scratch & Dent

In regards to all scratches, dents, or issues with the finished materials, once the product leaves the crate deck, we will not honor any repairs at our own expense. The reason for this term is because it is impossible to discern any wrongdoing on our part; it is imperative to look over the product before moving past this point.

Structural

In regards to structural issues after the product has left the crate, they will be handled per given basis. We will not cover the cost of a new crate, so it is imperative that you do not destroy your crate until you are satisfied that all is well with your order.

 

We recommend that you make every effort to report any warranty claim prior to installation; if the product has been installed, we may still honor any valid warranty claim, but we will not pay or make any allowance for un-installing or removing the item. Additionally, we will not be responsible for the cost of scheduling an installer or any other laborer for regarding the project in the event there is an issue with the product, it is the customer's responsibility all is well with the product before scheduling installers or any other laborers. If the product is installed and it is the customer’s belief there is a valid warranty claim, the product should remain installed. Send pictures of it in its place and begin the correspondence of the claim process.

If we cannot determine definite validity of your claim, it is the customer’s discretion to send the item back to us for warranty determination. If we determine upon examination that your claim is valid, we will compensate you for the shipping. If we determine your claim is not valid, we will not reimburse for freight and we will charge a service fee for checking your item, plus a handling fee for the re-crating of your item and all applicable repairs; return shipment back to you, will be at the customer’s expense.


Returns

Should you experience an issue with your Haube Range Hood, we will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly and efficiently as possible. Before doing anything, please contact us so that we can begin our investigation.

Cancellations

When the project is approved, you agree to our specification sheets and drawings detailing series, size, and options. Once we start on the project, the $1,000 deposit can not be refunded.

Care

It is the buyers responsibility to care for their range hood as they would a fine piece of furniture. With proper cleaning, the metal finish should last for decades.
